أَبْدَأُ بِمَا بَدَأَ اللَّهُ بِهِ إِنَّ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةَ مِن شَعَائِرِ اللَّهِ ۖ فَمَنْ حَجَّ الْبَيْتَ أَوِ اعْتَمَرَ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِ أَنْ يَطَّوَّفَ بِهِمَا ۚ وَمَنْ تَطَوَّعَ خَيْرًا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ شَاكِرٌعَلِيمٌ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ،لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ.لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ، أَنْجَزَ وَعْدَهُ، وَنَصَرَ عَبْدَهُ، وَهَزَمَ الْأَحْزَابَ وَحْدَهُ. لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ، وَهُوَ حَيٌّ لَا يَمُوتُ، بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ، وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ.لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ، أَنْجَزَ وَعْدَهُ، وَنَصَرَ عَبْدَهُ، وَهَزَمَ الْأَحْزَابَ وَحْدَهُ. رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وفِي الْآ خِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ - رَبِّاغْفِرْ وَارْحَمْ.وَاعْفُ وَتَكَرَّمْ وَتَجَاوَزْ عَمَّا تَعْلَمُ، إِنَّكَ تَعْلَمُ مَا لَا نَعْلَمُ، إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْأَعَزُّ الْأَكْرَمُ اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْهُدَى، وَالتُّقَى، وَالْعَفَافَ، وَالْغِنَى. اَللّٰهُمَّ أَعِنَّا عَلَىٰ ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ. "اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْهُدَى، وَالتُّقَى، وَالْعَفَافَ، وَالْغِنَى"

Transliteration

Abda'u bimā bada'Allāhu bih.Innaṣ-Ṣafā wal-Marwata min sha'ā'irillāh. Fa-man ḥajja al-bayta awi'tamara fa-lā junāḥa 'alayhi an yaṭṭawwafa bihimā. Wa man taṭawwa'a khayran fa-inna Allāha shākirun 'alīm. Allāhu Akbar, Allāhu Akbar, Allāhu Akbar. Lā ilāha illallāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamd, wa huwa 'alā kulli shay'in qadīr. Lā ilāha illallāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamdu, yuḥyī wa yumītu, wa huwa ḥayyun lā yamūt, biyadihil-khayr, wa huwa 'alā kulli shay'in qadīr. Lā ilāha illallāhu waḥdahu, anjaza wa'dahu, wa naṣara 'abdahu, wa hazamal-aḥzāba waḥdahu.

Translation

English

"Indeed, Safa and Marwah are among the symbols of Allah. So whoever performs Hajj to the House or performs Umrah, there is no blame upon him for walking between them. And whoever does good voluntarily, then surely Allah is Most Appreciative, All-Knowing." There is no god worthy of worship except Allah alone, without partner. To Him belongs all sovereignty and all praise, and He has power over everything. There is no god worthy of worship except Allah alone. He fulfilled His promise, granted victory to His servant, and defeated the confederate armies by Himself.

اردو

بے شک صفا اور مروہ اللہ کی نشانیوں میں سے ہیں، لہٰذا جو شخص بیت اللہ کا حج یا عمرہ کرے، اس پر ان دونوں کے درمیان سعی کرنے میں کوئی گناہ نہیں۔ اور جو شخص خوشی سے کوئی نیکی کرے تو یقیناً اللہ قدر دان اور سب کچھ جاننے والا ہے۔" "اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبودِ برحق نہیں، وہ اکیلا ہے، اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں۔ اسی کی بادشاہی ہے، اور تمام تعریفیں اسی کے لیے ہیں، اور وہ ہر چیز پر پوری قدرت رکھتا ہے۔" اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبودِ برحق نہیں، وہ اکیلا ہے، اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں۔ اسی کی بادشاہی ہے، اور تمام تعریفیں اسی کے لیے ہیں۔ وہی زندگی دیتا ہے اور وہی موت دیتا ہے۔ وہ ہمیشہ زندہ ہے، اسے کبھی موت نہیں آئے گی۔ ہر بھلائی اسی کے ہاتھ میں ہے، اور وہ ہر چیز پر کامل قدرت رکھنے والا ہے۔" "اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبودِ برحق نہیں، وہ اکیلا ہے۔ اس نے اپنا وعدہ پورا فرمایا، اپنے بندے (محمد ﷺ) کی مدد فرمائی، اور تمام مخالف لشکروں کو تنہا شکست دی۔" اے اللہ! میری مغفرت فرما، مجھ پر رحم فرما، مجھے معاف فرما، مجھ پر کرم فرما، اور میری ان کوتاہیوں سے درگزر فرما جنہیں تو خوب جانتا ہے۔ بے شک تو وہ سب کچھ جانتا ہے جو ہم نہیں جانتے۔ یقیناً تو ہی سب سے زیادہ غالب اور سب سے زیادہ عزت و کرم والا ہے۔ اے اللہ! ہمیں اپنا ذکر کرنے، تیری نعمتوں کا شکر ادا کرنے، اور بہترین طریقے سے تیری عبادت کرنے میں ہماری مدد فرما۔ اے اللہ! میں تجھ سے ہدایت، تقویٰ، پاکدامنی اور دل کی بے نیازی (قناعت و استغناء) کا سوال کرتا ہوں۔

Detailed Explanation

1. "There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah alone." This is the declaration of Tawheed, affirming that only Allah deserves worship. It is the foundation of Islam and the greatest statement a believer can utter. 2. "Who has no partner." Allah has no partner in His Lordship, worship, names, or attributes. Everything belongs to Him alone, and no one shares His authority. 3. "To Him belongs all sovereignty." Allah is the absolute King and Owner of the heavens, the earth, and everything within them. Every blessing, provision, and authority comes only from Him. 4. "And to Him belongs all praise." Every form of praise is due to Allah because He is Perfect in His mercy, wisdom, justice, and generosity. Muslims praise Him in every situation. 5. "He gives life and causes death." Allah alone creates life and determines death. Every soul lives and dies according to His perfect decree. 6. "He is Ever-Living and never dies." Unlike all creation, Allah is Eternal. He never sleeps, weakens, or dies. His life is perfect and everlasting. 7. "In His Hand is all goodness." Every blessing, mercy, success, provision, guidance, and forgiveness comes from Allah. Believers place their complete trust in Him. 8. "He has power over everything." Nothing is impossible for Allah. He controls the entire universe, answers prayers, forgives sins, heals illnesses, and changes every situation according to His wisdom. 9. "He fulfilled His promise." Allah always fulfills every promise He makes. His promises of guidance, mercy, victory, and reward are always true. 10. "He granted victory to His servant." This refers to Allah granting victory to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ over his enemies and supporting him throughout his mission. It reminds every believer that true success comes only through Allah's help. 11. "He defeated the confederate armies by Himself." This refers to the Battle of the Trench (Al-Ahzab), when Allah alone caused the coalition of enemy tribes to retreat without achieving their objective. It reminds believers that no matter how difficult a situation appears, Allah's help is always sufficient.
