بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، وَالصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ.اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا، وَعَمَلًا صَالِحًا، وَرِزْقًا وَاسِعًا، وَشِفَاءً مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ.

O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, abundant provision, and healing from every disease.

Translation

English

"The water of Zamzam is for whatever purpose it is drunk." This means that a believer may drink Zamzam while sincerely asking Allah for beneficial needs such as forgiveness, health, knowledge, righteous offspring, success, or Paradise.

اے اللہ! میں تجھ سے نفع دینے والا علم، کشادہ رزق، اور ہر بیماری سے شفا مانگتا ہوں۔

Detailed Explanation

Zamzam is the blessed water that Allah caused to spring forth beside the Ka'bah in Makkah. It first appeared when Hajar (AS), the wife of Prophet Ibrahim (AS), was searching for water for her infant son Prophet Isma'il (AS). By Allah's command, the Angel Jibreel (AS) caused the spring of Zamzam to gush forth. Since then, it has flowed continuously for thousands of years and has become one of the greatest blessings for Muslims. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ praised Zamzam and encouraged believers to drink it with sincere intentions and supplications.
